Our History
ORIGIN Sports group was founded by Sir Keith Mills following his involvement in the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. As CEO of the Olympic Bid and Vice Chairman of the Organising Committee (LOCOG), Sir Keith played an integral role in the execution of one of the greatest Olympic Games in history. As a result of this experience, Sir Keith has been involved in a number of elite sports projects and businesses over the last two decades, and established himself as one of the leading investors and operators in the sports industry.
ORIGIN was established as a consolidation of a number of sports businesses led by Sir Keith, with the added objective to uncover and invest in under-commercialised sports properties. With a diverse history and a highly experienced executive team, ORIGIN is uniquely positioned within the sports industry to unlock value from sport. ORIGIN provides counsel to its investment partners, whilst also having the capability to operate and execute major sports projects.
